Session with Parents
Our sessions with parents provide a supportive space for open communication, guidance, and collaboration. These meetings foster stronger connections between families and our team, empowering parents with resources and strategies to better support their autistic children’s growth and development.

Food Bank and Nutrition Support
At Senfocus, we run a dedicated food bank to support special needs parents or SEN parents who may face challenges in accessing nutritious meals. We provide essential food supplies tailored to the needs of SEN families, including sensory-friendly options and meal ideas. Our team also offers guidance on meal planning, budget-friendly nutrition, and practical ways to make the most of available ingredients. By ensuring families have access to healthy, balanced meals, we help create a more stable and supportive home environment for SEN children.

Coffee Morning for Parents
Our coffee mornings offer a calm, supportive space for parents and carers of children with special educational needs. These sessions encourage connection with others facing similar challenges while promoting emotional wellbeing. Parents can share experiences, access helpful resources, and take a much-needed pause from daily stress in a relaxed, understanding environment.

Swimming Programme
At SENFocus, we assess swimmers using selected elements of the Swim England Learn to Swim Framework, adapting it to suit the needs of children with additional learning or physical needs.
The framework provides a structured progression of aquatic skills, including water confidence, floating, balance, breathing control, and basic propulsion. Our teachers use these milestones as a guide while allowing flexibility so that each swimmer can progress in a way that is comfortable and supportive for them.
Our teaching team collectively brings over 100 years of swimming teaching experience, allowing us to apply the framework with both structure and flexibility for swimmers with additional needs.
